The most impressive photojournalism from around the world is showcased in a multitude of exhibitions spanning the city's spectacular venues, including dramatic open air screenings in the heart of the old town. Gianluca calls it his one "can't miss" trip of the year, "a great moment of sharing, inspiration, and a chance to see the newest directions photojournalism is taking." A jewel of southwest France, medieval Perpignan is a photographer's dream with its maze of ancient alleyways, massive castle, 14th century churches, garden-lined canal, and colorful markets.
To have the chance of winning this phenomenal prize, submit one to three photos that tell us your story - it could be a poignant portrait of a relative or a short series of images, which capture a narrative unfolding.
